Mr. Kulkarni has been associated with Motilal Oswal Private Equity since 2011. He is a member of the Investment Committee of Existing Funds and works closely with the team on deal evaluation and portfolio monitoring.

Mr. Kulkarni has 49 years of experience in the financial services sector. He was one of the co-founders of 20th Century Finance Corporation Ltd. in 1980, India’s largest NBFC in the mid-90s, and Centurion Bank. He was among the initial India-focused PE investors. Earlier, in the 70s he worked with Citibank in its investment banking and commercial banking departments. He is also the Chairman of TPL Plastech Limited, a listed entity, and serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several listed and unlisted companies, including MNCs. He also mentors a few start-ups.

Mr. Kulkarni has been appointed to various committees of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce, the Bombay Management Association and the Reserve Bank of India. He was the Chairman of the Equipment Leasing Association of India from 1993 to 1995

Mr. Kulkarni holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and has a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Mr. Thiruambalam has been associated with Motilal Oswal Private Equity since 2015. He works closely with the team on deal evaluation and portfolio monitoring. He brings with him rich operating experience of four decades across India, Asia and UK, with GSK Consumer Healthcare, Becton Dickenson, GE and Heinz. His career spanned roles of sales, marketing as well as B2C and B2B operations leading up to the roles of Chairman and Managing Director, Heinz India and Chief Growth Officer, Heinz Asia. He has served as Global Brand Manager and Global Executive Council Member with the companies he has been with. Prior to Motilal Oswal Private Equity, Mr. Thiruambalam was the CEO and Director of CavinKare Private Limited, a private equity funded personal care and food & beverages’ company in India.

Mr. Thiruambalam brings with him significant experience in organisation building, greenfield projects, supply chain, brand building, distribution and process improvements, leading to record performances in growth and productivity.

Mr. Thiruambalam holds a B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Trichy and has a PGDM in Marketing and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Mr. Shankar has been associated with Motilal Oswal Private Equity since 2013. He is responsible for deal evaluation and portfolio monitoring.

Mr. Shankar has 35 years of experiences in the healthcare sector. He established and scaled Indian operations of Actavis Pharma, the world’s third largest generics company, to US$100 million revenues. He had earlier worked with Hikal Limited as its Chief Finance Officer, where he spearheaded Hikal’s growth outside the country as well as into pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, Mr. Shankar worked with
E. Merck India Ltd. for 12 years across accounts, finance, internal audit, costing, management accounting and information technology functions. He has considerable experience in domestic and cross-border M&A. He led the acquisition of three companies for Actavis in India and two companies abroad for Hikal. He has expertise in building systems-driven organisations and leveraging analytical skills to solve complex issues.

Mr. Shankar is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Mr. Soni joined Motilal Oswal Private Equity in 2017. He is responsible for domestic fund raising and ongoing interaction with potential and current investors.

Prior to Motilal Oswal Private Equity, he spent over 18 years in fund raising, sales and distribution, business development and investor relations with Motilal Oswal AMC, Daiwa Asset Management, Birla Sun Life Asset Management, Tata Motors and Birla Global Finance. Mr. Soni has been associated with the Motilal Oswal Group since November 2013. He was the Zonal Head – Sales & Distribution at Motilal Oswal AMC for four years. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for relationship and channel management, product and pricing strategy, new product launches and business development.

Mr. Soni holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and has an MBA from Pune University.

Mr. Khatri joined Motilal Oswal Private Equity in 2023. Responsible for Domestic Fund raising and ongoing interactions with current and potential investors.

He comes with over ’17 years’ experience in Fund Raising , Sales & Distribution, Business Development and Investor Relations across  Asset Management Companies . Prior to joining Motilal Oswal Private Equity he has been associated with Nuvama Asset management , Carnelian Asset Advisors , Aditya Birla AMC , ICICI Prudential AMC and Tata Mutual Fund .

Mr. Khatri has done his MBA in marketing from SIES College of Management Studies and Diploma in Financial Management from Welingkar Institute of Management.

Ms.Kripa jointed Motilal Oswal Private Equity in 2023.  She is responsible for Institutional Fund raising  and investor relation activities

Before joining MOPE,  Ms.Kripa was handling Institutions & Corporates for over 17 years at different geographies with Bandhan AMC, Sundaram AMC, Invesco AMC and Standard Chartered Bank. She has been responsible for relationship & channel management, product strategy and business development.

Ms.Kripa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Company Secretary and has Master’s in Business Management from ICFAI

Ms. Karak joined Motilal Oswal Private Equity in 2018. She is responsible for supporting fund raising and investor relations activities.

Before joining Motilal Oswal Private Equity, Ms. Karak spent over 4 years at Strategic Growth Advisors, UFO Moviez and JP Morgan Chase & Co.

Ms. Karak holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies and has a Master’s degree in Finance from ICFAI University.

Ms. Shah joined Motilal Oswal Private Equity in 2023. She is responsible for Investor Relations activities. She is a Financial/Marketing Professional with almost 10 years of experience. Before joining Venture Catalysts, she was working with VCCircle as a Senior Research Associate for Events division.

Prior to VCCircle, she has worked with Bonanza Stock Broking as a Risk Management Professional & SMC Global Securities as Arbitrage dealer

She is a CFA charterholder from ICFAI Institute, India besides holding a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mumbai University.

Ms. Tirthani joined Motilal Oswal Private Equity in 2023. She is responsible for Investor Relations activities.

Before joining Motilal Oswal Private Equity, Ms. Tirthani worked as an Analyst at Blackstone Inc. for 3 years where she was part of Investor Relations Team. She was responsible for handling Investor and Financial Reporting, along with day-to-day Investor activities.

Ms. Tirthani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies and has a Master’s degree in Finance from ICFAI University.

Mr. Sanghavi joined Motilal Oswal Private Equity in 2021. He is responsible for supporting portfolio companies in their digital transformation journey.

Mr. Sanghavi joined Motilal Oswal Private Equity with over 21 years of experience in heading IT departments of corporate houses across distribution, retail and FMCG sectors, such as Savex Technologies, Harmony Distributors (a subsidiary of Jashanmal group), Planet M (a division of Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd., Times Group), Yash Birla group and Bajaj Consumer Care.

At Bajaj Consumer Care, he was involved in formulating the organisation’s IT strategy, setting up the IT department and helping the organisation in its digital transformation journey. At Planet M, he headed project rollouts for opening 300+ retail outlets across India. During his career, he has implemented SAP HANA ERP, Business Applications software, Artificial intelligence (AI), business intelligence (BI), sales field automation (SFA), cyber security and IT infrastructure projects in his previous assignments. Over the past few years, he has been recognised by various industry forums for his contribution towards
information technology.

Mr. Sanghavi holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from Mumbai University, is PMP certified from PMI USA, and has completed his executive education in data science from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Ms. Barhate joined Motilal Oswal Private Equity in 2021. She is involved in working with portfolio companies in their strategy and operations transformation journey.

Ms. Barhate came onboard with 11 years of experience in management consulting and driving large-scale transformation programmes across diverse sectors. During her career, she has successfully built and fostered client relationships, sustainable solutions through a mix of change management, project management and implementation programmes to deliver top-line and bottom-line value. Her key areas of intervention include operations transformation, procurement transformation, strategic cost reduction, business process improvements, supply chain management, EBITDA improvement, warehouse management, inventory management, logistics function improvement, network optimisation, supply chain segmentation, among others.

Ms. Barhate holds an MBA from The Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Rajasthan University.

Mr Bhattacharya joined Motilal Oswal Private Equity as the Chief People Officer in 2023. Prior to joining here, he worked with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance since 2007 in multiple HR roles including Heading Recruitments, HR Shared Services & HR Business Partner.

He has led teams that have delivered hiring of more than 5000 professionals, led HR Technology Automations, Employee Wellness, HR Analytics and Employee Cost & Productivity control projects.

He works closely with multiple portfolio companies on people interventions like relooking at the Organisation Structures, Hiring of Critical CXO roles, bringing in best HR Practices and Policies, Implementing Performance Management Frameworks, Job Evaluation methodologies and helping in ESOP implementations.

He holds a masters degree in HR from Army Institute of Management Kolkata and is a graduate from Symbiosis Pune. He is also a Hays certified Job Evaluation specialist and has won multiple awards on areas around diversity and inclusion, 40 under 40 and was a part of the Future CXO club in Bajaj Finserv.

Rishu joined MO Alternate in 2024. At MO Alternate, he works with portfolio companies in their EBITDA enhancement journey covering business transformation initiatives spanning costs, growth and efficiency.

Prior to joining MO Alternate, Rishu had 5 years of management consulting and industry experience. Before joining MO Alternate, he was working at AT Kearney as a consultant delivering top-line and bottom-line value through key interventions in areas such as EBITDA enhancement, strategic cost reduction, Go-to-market and growth strategy, operations transformation, project management, supply chain management, margin improvement, logistics function improvement, among others. He also has experience of implementing large scale transformation projects in the manufacturing sector.

Rishu holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Silchar and earned his MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Mr. Kedia joined Motilal Oswal Alternates business in 2018 as the Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for managing operations for private equity funds and real estate funds, including domestic institutional fund raising, investment monitoring, fund compliance, fund accounting and administration, and investor relations. Mr. Kedia also represents Fund II on the Board of Dairy Classic.

He has 29 years of diverse experience across strategy and operational roles (Zee Entertainment Enterprise, Parag Milk Foods, Publicis Groupe, Coca Cola HBC SA, Kansai Nerolac Paints). At Zee Entertainment Enterprise, he was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and was responsible for driving the execution of the company’s digital strategy by launching the OTT platform, ZEE5. At Parag Milk Foods, he was responsible for listing the company through an IPO process and managing investor relations, in addition to his core role of CFO.

During his stint at Publicis Groupe, as the CFO (Media and Creative), he handled the India operations and led 20+ M&A transactions. At Coca Cola HBC SA as the Eastern European Finance Director, he was responsible for diverse strategic and operational roles, such as the acquisition of a juice manufacturing unit, setting up of mineral water unit, launching their route-to-market strategy, driving efficiency in cold chain setup, setting up advanced MIS system and developing a collaborative model between the Coca Cola company and its franchise bottlers. At Kansai Nerolac Paints, Mr. Kedia was instrumental in setting up a new production facility in Uttar Pradesh.

Mr. Kedia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Ranchi University. He is also a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a qualified Company Secretary.

Mr. Gupta brings with him over 21 years of experience in Finance & Operations. Prior to joining Motilal Oswal team, he was associated with ASK Property Investment Advisors Pvt. Ltd. where he was responsible for fund administration. He has in-depth knowledge on accounting of venture capital fund, alternative investment fund, PMS, compliance and statutory issues. He was involved in the entire lifecycle of the fund, including fund raising, investments and exits.

Mr. Gupta holds an MBA in Finance and is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India.

Mr. Tibra joined Motilal Oswal Real Estate in 2020 and brings with him more than 9 years of experience in Finance and Operations. He was previously associated with Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd where he was responsible for fund administration. At Motilal Oswal Real Estate, he is responsible for accounting, finance, MIS and other strategic initiatives.

Mr. Tibra is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Rajasthan University.

Ms. Daryani joined Motilal Oswal team in 2007. She is responsible for the smooth functioning of a variety of administrative responsibilities and routine tasks for efficient management of the organisation. Previously, Ms. Daryani worked with ICICI Bank Limited in the home loans department and was responsible for handling administrative tasks.

Ms. Daryani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mumbai University.
